Rosali--the journal looks wonderful! And what a fun pouch!!

I love the bird/branch design--what is the fabric? The pink stitiching on the branchand wrist strap is an added touch!!

Actually I hate the post office right now! Okay...totally off subject but here it goes..and if you heard this from me before..Sorry!
1st off, in another swap, someone sent me this really cool rosary necklace and customs opened it and didn't reseal the package. So...I got an empty package. I felt so bad for the person who crafted for me. It was so beautiful and now some customs person has it! Cry I hope their genitals fall off! 2nd, A sent a package to someone who lives 6 hours away and it took 4 DAYS to get to here and the candle I made was broken! AGH! Again, I want the gentials of the post office people to fall off.  >:(It's like they are still on holiday!

Okay..that was my rant...now back to seeing beautiful creations.  Smiley

PS-I will be updating feedback over the next few days. If you need it sooner for another swap, let me know Smiley

gee, thanks Smiley the base fabric and branch are vinyl and the bird is just cotton print with interfacing to keep it stiff. gotta say, i'm a fan of contrasting thread  Grin

yes im late too!  i am finishing my packages for catpants and bloocanoe tonite, but this week has been CRAZY!  i worked ten hours both days and yesterday was our kindergarten's graduation!  they were so cute!  but alas, i do not teach public school so i dont get the whole summer off to craft (sniff).  i will be at summer camp working four ten hour days so i will have an extra day for post office trips.  ANYway...girls, your packages will be mailed out tomorrow!

I received two packages on Monday and am finally getting pictures posted.

First, crystalfairy made me this wonderful cross stitch sunflower, which will be an excellent addition to my fall theme.

And, second, rain sent me this beautiful knit summer purse (it's lined).

THANKS to both of you!

I'm shipping to you tomorrow, Rosali...I will try to get it sent the fast way, not the slow-boat-to-China way. Last time I sent to England it took five loooong weeks.

Her dirty paws and furry coat,
She ran down the forest slope.
The forest of talking trees,
They used to sing about the birds and the bees.
The bees had declared a war,
The sky wasn't big enough for them all.
