Its great! Did you use a pattern to make it or is it just thrown together?

nope no pattern! its SOOO easy - ill post you guys a mini tute - plus ive never actually finished anything with a pattern before... hence the dodginess of everything i do - i just cant concentrate on something soo structured! anyhoo... heres the visuals...soon...

provided the fabric isnt see-through - the stuff i used was so i had to double it over... its just two rectangles sewn together
NOW heres the visuals

hope that helps... not that you asked for it - ... but im bored!

i just tied the straps together..... you can either do two separate ones, or just one long one, i did one long one and tried to make it look neater by doing the join neatly... ahha if thats completely correct english! ahah, not my day for eloquence i can tell...
but yes, hope that answers your question

Great simple dress! The loose style is back again, especially in a retro fashion. Great idea for the waistband.
