There was a little slip of paper in my mailbox yesterday saying that there's a parcel waiting for me at the Post Office. I know exactly what it is, and I shall be picking it up on Monday or Tuesday, and posting pics shortly afterwards. Kewl. Very excited. So EmilyFlew can mark down that I've received from Mata, I just don't have the physical package in my hands. I hope that I get Baci chocolate as well! Wink

 - MyRedUmbrella - I hope you realise what you've done. I spent last night looking for information about Plastic Bertrand, and have downloaded 10 different versions of that damn song (1 in German, 3 in English, 6 in French). I'll drive my neighbours crazy..... Or better yet, I have a 4hr car trip with my sister tomorrow. I think I'll burn a special little CD of 'travelling music' for us to listen to. Heh heh.

So glad it got there!! If I remember well, you'll get Baci as well, but something different than a map of Milano.. since you said you lived in Italy for some time!  Grin

Bubba*tink

I'm so glad you like all yer shtuff!  I ran out of hot glue when I was making the magnets, and the only glue I had was UHU, and just as I was packing them up I noticed that the glue was darkening the pictures...crap...I'm so sorry, I hope they look ok!  Thanks so much again for yours, I was listening to the cd while my parents were teaching my hubby and I how to play bridge!  It was awesome fun, made it more bearable! Grin

Hoxierice, I've been away on vacation since Tuesday and just got back this afternoon, so I haven't been able to check to see if yer package has come by yet.  Can't wait!!!!

Hoxierice, I got your shtuff in the mail!!!  (It got mailed to my former workplace, which is owned by my father-in-law, and I got to hang out with him today so he brought it over)  I LOVE the music, especially the first song!  I have to hear both theRehn's and hoxie's cds again to pick my faves...Thanks so much!!

I love the hilarious "fun with desert plants" stencil book (heeheeee!! Grin), and I love stickers (I have an uber boring trash can in my sewing room that I've been slowly covering entirely with stickers), thanks so much!!

I'll post pics soon, i plomise!

Here are pictures of my package from PinkMafia!

Besides the cd, she enclosed two postcards and a cute keychain:

Here's a close-up:

By the way, I listened to the cd on the way to work today, and I really enjoyed the Ensamle Latino. Thanks again!

Somebody picked up her second CD from the Post Office today..... Smiley

Here's what Mata sent me:

.... that one remaining Baci lasted about 5 seconds after the camera shutter clicked. I don't know where it went *completely innocent* Wink

Now Mata wasn't to know this, but oh god do I love bread. I've wanted to make my own for ages and ages and ages, and now I have no excuse not to, since she sent me a bread making recipe book. And yup, I can still read Italian... but I can only speak easily in present tense (io non ricordo tempo passato, o tempo remoto, o tempo congiuntivo o futuro...... Ma ricordo bene tutte le parolaccie! So much for majoring AND honouring in Italian *lol*)

Mille grazie Mata! I shall love listening to your CDs.

And if it's not too much trouble Mata, could you post a photo of the CD case I made? I forgot to take a photo of it before I sent, and I'd love to know what everyone else thinks... if it's liked, I'll make some more for friends here.
