Thanks everybody! I think they each took a few weeks, working sporadically, mind you...but in terms of hours they probably each took about eight or nine. I will post the pattern for the green one, I didn't write down the red one but it's pretty self-explanatory anyway. Give me a day or two and I'll get it up!

Her dirty paws and furry coat,
She ran down the forest slope.
The forest of talking trees,
They used to sing about the birds and the bees.
The bees had declared a war,
The sky wasn't big enough for them all.

I think they are just great! I particularly like the minty fresh one with the ribbing--it looks almost like the ribbing is graduated upward--if that makes any sense. Would love to see the pattern for that.

Thanks for this myloveasdeep. My daughter and I admired this for ages and she asked me to make it for her 16th birthday. I finished it the day before (phew!) Had a few problems with the short rows though so botched the sleeves a bit but she's really happy with it. I call it Aqua fresh. thanks for looking

Thanks a lot! I used Rowan Cotton Rope (boy how that yarn loves to unravel, not the best yarn but my daughter loved the colour). I knit fairly loosely so I used US #7 needles (4.5mm). First time I've knitted top down too. An interesting experience.
