Plus, I was at the thrift store today and found some great materials and sea stuffs, plus I had a coupon for 30% off my entire purchase, yay!

Are you talking about Savers?
I just used my 30% off coupon a couple days ago!

Yep, it was Savers. I like the Boulder Humane Soc Thrift store for finding fabrics, but the Savers seems to have the best collection of general "stuff" that I've found.

Hmmm...I had been saving a dress with a neat fish print design that I was intending to cut up....I wonder if I still have it.

I love the Boulder Humane Society Thrift Store!
I bought some amazing fabric and sewing notions from there a few months ago.

I so want to sign up and have this be my first swap, but I have a question before I do so.  I have seen big item defined as different things in different threads, could someone please tell me what the definition of big is for this swap?

Why do some people think being a parent is only something to do when it is convenient for you?

For this one, my thinking is something that takes you a few hours to complete. Maybe something like a bag, a handbound book, something that is a clothing item, something knit or crochet that is large (not like a tiny cell phone cozy sized item), a large stuffed toy or modeled toy, something you need to felt, jewelry work that is complex...

Does that help? I hope it's not too vague!

i think also that a "large" item can be made up by a couple "medium" items.  for example:
earrings = small item
earring & bracelet set = medium item
necklace, earring, & bracelet set = large item

although you can't really make *only* small items... i think i would be disappointed if all i received was 65 marble magnets Smiley

DANG! there go all my ideas for this swap! Wink

and yes, a large "set" would also be appropriate for a large item, as a set of jewelry does take a lot of time, creativity, and love.
