i'm definitely going to bookmark this.  i think that the send-by date could be extended.  there's no hard and fast rule that says you have to send within two weeks.

maybe we could just add a week on to the send by date?  it seems like a lot of people would be more willing to join if there was just a little more time (especially since a lot of people are finishing up school right now).

I can't really, it'd break the rules that everyone else has to abide by with other swaps. Normally two weeks is tons of time, how come that wouldn't be enough?
hey hun!
I'm kind of confused? The two weeks is usually for the smaller wish swap / unconditional swaps,  larger swaps with several items are more often that not longer crafting time. I usually give 3 weeks to 1 month crafting time. As for why it wouldn't be enough.. usually I get my partner info, think about what to make then go out to buy supplies which usually takes about a week. A larger knit item can take longer than a week to make.. like my tree cable bag for the tree swap took forever.
I also am intrigued but would probably need a longer crafting time too.

I really want to participate in this swap but I'm always just lurking and barely ever post anything so I don't even have 15 posts.  I have a bunch of ocean related crafts that I actually have pictures of.  Maybe I'll post a bunch of stuff in different places so I can qualify to participate in my first swap by the end of sign up time.

i think a great way to get some posts worked up is to also compliment projects and other swaps! you could definitely have your 15 posts in no time! Smiley

and, you're welcome ladies! i wanted everyone to be able to do it, i was just have an awful brain fart! (i can't believe i said brain fart.)
