WOW L, I missed the knitted cuffs--I am becoming a cuff collector, hee hee--those are very nice...I like the varigated yarn used!!

Drea4545--those bandanas are very cute and practical!! Brings back memories...and your housewarming gift from artxinxlies is a nice surprise when you are trying to get settled!! Lovely colors!!

Bigmouth, I am so sorry it has taken me this long to get a picture up of what you sent me. I took the pictures and never posted them, I'm such a dork.

This is the wonderful embroidered t-shirt Bigmouth sent me for my wish of "something anchor or ship themed" (I have to get a picture of the generous extra she sent, which says "banjos not bombs" on it. It was a little too short for me, so I am turning it into a bag!). I apologize for not having a better picture... excuse the neon pink bra underneath the white shirt. Obviously NOT one of my better ideas (but I was at home, so, it's legal at home)

Sorry that other t-shirt turned out to be so small.  I didn't think to size it by trying it on until AFTER I already did the transfer.  I couldn't believe how small it was!  Glad it's going to good use, though.

I love the flowery fabric--it looks vintagey--and the check pattern fabric looks like it goes with it--hmmm--a nice lined hobo bag maybe?  hee hee  or an apron? or....

Wanna know who's TOTALLY RAD?  alwaysinmyroom!  (yes, I just called someone "rad."  What can I say, I am a child of the '80s.)

She PM'd me in May to tell me that she wasn't able to make an official swap pick, but she wanted to make me a tote bag, one of the Uncon May items I asked for.  She asked if that was okay, for her to be my "secret swapper," and I said something along the lines of, "Umletmethinkaboutit foraminuteYES."  So off she went to sew me a tote, Angel of Swappyness that she is.

Today I got a packet in the mail and opened it up with curiosity, unable to match it up to the size/type of packages I was watching for.  Inside was a flipping sweet journal made of brown lunch sacks!







Throughout the pages, you can read the little lines and phrases she added; admire the pretty papers she used as pages (and write on them, once I stop gazing worshipfully and am ready to deface it with my pedestrian scribbles); and tuck little souvenirs in the bags.  (Okay, yes, you'd have to handle it carefully so's the little ephemera doesn't fall out of the bags.  But I think that's quite doable.)

And the topper?  This isn't *in place* of the tote bag (which would still be a gift, as she's under no official commitment/obligation on the bag) - this is *in addition to* my upcoming bag!!  She told me she was bored/impatient waiting to get something to finish the bag, so she made me this!

Now, if this isn't one RAD crafter, who is??
