Here's a purse I made two days ago. It was my first Serious Lining with a zippered interior pocket, and since I once again pretended to know what I was doing I'm happy with it. The fabric was inspiring and happy looking (bought in the town where I live, in Sweden, in case you want to know). The flap closes with velcro. I winged it again; no tutorial or pattern.

For pretending to know what you're doing did you realize that the red flower on the flap matches up with the pattern on the rest of the bag!?! That is awesome! It was meant to be!!

I'm big on winging it too. I can't stick to a pattern to save my life.  I'm a big believer in things will just work out.  Like your red flower matching up! That is so cool!
