Thank you so much!  I made similar dolls a long time ago from a Japanese book that I had.  I'd completely forgotten about this technique!

This site is awesome !  Grin I have used the pattern of a Dachhond from this site to make a dog for my sons B/day! He loves it. I have also downloaded the patterns for a "boy doll" and a "girl doll". I used the patterns heads and stuffed them with papier mache. When they dried I unpicked the fabric and had a solid shape to use in my papier-mache project. My daughter is wanting to start her own craft projects and is wanting to make another stuffed animal. We are going back there today. Cheesy
