Nothing is so simple that it can't be screwed up

I've been trying to figure out what to do with the tootsie roll fabric that's been in my fabric stash for awhile.  Well, I decided to made my daughter a little outfit for our going away party yesterday, and it was perfect!  I didn't have much of the fabric, so I coordinated it with a brown polka dot fabric that I had plenty of.  I was up at midnight making the tootsie roll bias tape for those shorts- LOL what we do for our kids  Wink.  I started with a pattern, but then improvised to make the outfit the way I wanted.  What do you think?

both are adorable, is that more of the polka dot fabric lining the top?  is it reversible?

Thanks everyone!

The top is fully lined, but I didn't make it reversible, although It could easily have been.  I lined it with tootsies in the front and dots in the back.  I'll have to post a pic of the back to show how it ties.  My daughter got ice cream all over it, so it is in the laundry right now...
