Thanks you guys! My niece does seem to like it a lot. She kept pointing to each individual square and laughing. When I took the quilt away to take the picture, she got all upset! It was so much fun to make!

Holy cow, I'm impressed! I have only limited experience with quilting, but enough to know how difficult this must have been. And the details! The hair tufts and the fur...just..wow.

The Jim Henson Company had a tradition where they made quilts for "life events" of fellow employees -- for the birth/adoption of a child, retirement, etc. (and when muppeteer Richard Hunt died they made squares to add to the AIDS quilt). The quilt book has a ton of pictures of quilts that were made by them throughout the years and it is worth getting just to see them, even if you're not interested in making a quilt yourself. Each employee (the ones who wanted to participate) would make one square for the quilt.

That is so cute! What patience you must have to complete something like that! I like the silver on Oscar's trash can...is that lame (luh-may...as in the fabric)? Also, is that fun fur material on Cookie Monster, Ernie, Oscar, and The Count? Very sweet!

On my way to where the air is sweet.
Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?

Thank you so much! Yep, Oscar's trash can is made out of lame and I used fun fur for cookie, ernie's hair, elmo, etc. Lots of fun fur! Grover is made out of an old blue bath towel I had. When I went shopping for fabric at Joann's for this project I had the weirdest assortments of colors and textures in my shopping cart and everyone was like *what* in the world are you making?!

To cute for words ! I love it ! I saw an episode of Simply Quilts on HGTV a few weeks back and they had a segment on baby quilts made from the people that actually sew the Muppet's themselves !! It was very cool !! Yours is GREAT !
