What a great swap to have as your first!
I can't wait to get started. I have to keep reminding myself that I don't know what or for whom I am crafting for yet. I kept picking things up in the fabric store today, going "This fabric is very Inara. This one would be great Kaylee themed bag." etc.  Cheesy

Whoop! I thought I was the only one doing that! Only I "forgot" to remind myself that I didn't know who I was crafting for and bought the Inara-style fabric! (Who am I kidding? I will quite happily keep the fabric if it's not my swap partner's style!)

i'm guilty on that count too.  i've been combing the internet looking for quotes and pictures, and making a list of possible items i could make.  IT'S SO EXCITING!

also, i would like to take this moment to bow down to the great and benevolent shylitlegoddess for extending the signup date.  much fresh-fish love.

-gives a blushy little wave- It's alright, really. I don't mind and no one has complaned so we're good.

It also gives me a little more time to work on a different swap as well.

Just thought I'd offer this to people looking for pics--there's a great site called Can't Take the Sky where you can download hundreds of screencaps per episode--you can even download the whole folder for each episode and have them all to use at your whim:  http://still-flying.net/images/

There's not much for Serenity, but the television series is covered completely.

Pieces,

Joanne

Yeah that is a good site. It's where I got my best pics of Jayne lovingly stroking Vera...
