Yay!  I'm holding off from more swaps for the moment, but this one's timed perfectly.  I'm bookmarking so I can remember to fill out the questionnaire when I get the chance.  I'm so excited!

I seem to be getting hit with random inspirations for this swap (ouch) - I think I'll have to make two of everything, one for my partner and one for me.  Its nice that this has such a long sign up and crafting times, lots of time for gestating ideas.

Hmmm.  You made me look at the last gallery.  I see what you mean.  It looks like they used the theme broadly and went with reused/recycled things & non-animal products in the items, and not so much vegan/veggie themed items.  I joined for veg themed items, myself.  Join us, L.  You can be my partner.  Wink

It is my intention for this swap that the crafted items be veggie and vegan themed. It is somewhat out of my control what people decide to make in the end. I'm being very careful who I'm matching up, some people are interested in the political side of things and some are not. I did how ever make it very clear that only those who intend to put a great deal of thought and love into whatever they decide to make should sign up.... so hopefully everyone will end up with great stuff.

You sound like a good swap organizer, nilla bean!  That sounds like a smart way to match partners.
I'm really excited for this.  I've got one last thing to finish and mail--and then this will be the only swap on my list.  Can't wait to get a partner!

So we have ( so far) an uneven amount of swappers but hopefully by the end of the day one more( or three more) people will sign up. If not I will rearrange the swap system  so it's a loop. a sends to b sends to c sends to a.

Great guys I'm so glad to hear that everyone is hard at work. I'll do an official checkup soon to make sure everyone will wind up happy at the end. Being flaked on sucks and with that said if anyone feels like they aren't going to be able to give alot to this swap please tell me now.

seems that way.  I've never seen the show - don't get it in my area (and I don't have cable).  Is the show good?  Worth maybe ordering a dvd of episodes?

Oh yeah, and one of my favorite vegan recipe books is a typed seventh day adventist cookbook called 'of these ye may eat freely'.  No sugar or processed food either.  I found it at a garage sale many many years ago and have never seen or heard of another copy since.

Yeah, they only have 4 episodes of the Post Punk Kitchen out right now, but they're so funny and really entertaining!  You can actually download them online if you have bittorrent from this url:  http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/331020/?rel=1146181118

Or, you can even watch them via google (http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=post+punk+kitchen), but the quality isn't as good.  Completely worth the money, but even better when they're free!

Okay since Cocoa Kitten has already sent here's the deal. When you have sent your name becomes purple, when your partner receives your name becomes green. Please PM me when you send and when you receive and please do it as soon as you can so this is up to date. Cocoa Kitten I know you've sent so there's no need to PM me. Thanks
I  also set up a gallery today so Elif can post her goodies as soon as she gets them.
