Here's my entry.  I was inspired by all the leather boys out there.  You all deserve a big ole teddy bear to hang on to.

Original "artwork":

The real Mr. Teddy:

Enjoy!

That's funny!  I love the crayonwork in the background.

Yes, the crayon work would be all mine.  I am a crayon genuis!  Actually I wanted to decoupage real landscape and road, but I ran out of time so I penciled it in.  I'm no artist! (Just look at those trees!)

But I am going to finish this with decoupage then probably sell it during a yard sale.  haha!

haha, when i saw the thread title i immediately thought, "no, surely, this is not related to tom of finland. there's some other reference that i don't know about." and so i had to look and it was, in fact, exactly what i was thinking! that is great, i love it!

one does wonder - why is teddy bending over like that anyways, in the original picture? (i admit when i saw the original, i thought you were going someplace much naughtier with it.)

Haha!  I see that same biker image on the cover of a Tom of Finland book all the time!  We have a bunch of copies in the bookstore where I work.  By far, one of the tamer Tom of Finland images...

And what a strange picture that was, even from the beginning.  That teddy bear is wearing workout clothes!  I'd put my money on a 1983 copyright.

I think a lot of people are going to accidentally get a Tom of Finland education before this challenge is over.  *snort*

Teddy is totally 1983.  The sweatsuit gives it away.

I was thinking of going very very naughty with the original picture but then I'd have to download porn on my office computer, and I'm not quite sure who is watching.  Not a situation I'd like to explain.  "Uhhh, I'm downloading gay porn because I'm in a craft challenge . . ."

You should have seen my coworkers' faces when I went around collecting ties for a craft project.
