Hey! Mt husband got a free bookshelf from his day job at a law firm and decided we could use it in our comic book store. But, it was one of those really ugly "build it yourself" type bookcases. Like this:

So one day later, 2 bottles of modge podge and about 5 comics, ta dah!

It almost hurts your eyes to look at it.

Awesome. Reminds me of a dresser my sister covered in manga pages. Hers isn't colorful like this one though. Great job!

Wow that's ace. Why would you want to put books on it now though? I'd want to read the bookcase.

Actually it reminds me of a jumper I had when I was a kid, one of those really thick reversible jumpers that everyone seemed to wear in the 80's (in the UK at least) one side had Minnie Mouse in a car, and the reverse side was all cartoons. people liked it when I wore it that way round during school assembly.

Doesn't that make you want to just sit down and read your entire book case? Great job!!!

That's really awesome! I love it. Totally fitting for a comic book store, too!  Cheesy

Yeah for comic book stores!  I want a bookshelf for my comics!  I just need to find room, they are running over right now in my closet.

I love it!  I could certainly use a few of these, I am beimg over-run by comics.  just don't know if I could bear to cut up comics to do it though.

It is hard to cut up comics. Embarrassed  But, it was a little easier to do because we already had to rip the covers off of the comics. We can get credit for some comics that don't sell at our store by returning the covers. This basically makes them unsellable and I can use their little coverless corpses for whatever I choose. Grin
