Okay, so raise your hand if you were born/grew up in the 80's and your mom would have totally had this in her dining room...right beside the picture of the geese.

*raises hand*

This was literally the only thing I had to work with...I live out in the country, so we don't so much have thrift shops - this came from Goodwill and was the only picture they had, heh heh!

Anyway, I decided that Ms. Kitty here seemed bored with her mundane life of staring out the window, looking at two sorry little flowers, and cursing whoever it was that picked out those curtains.  She needed to be glamed up and gothed out!

First thing I did was remove that gawd-awful bow. Then, since I decided she should be facing inward, I had to do a little tail surgery. Add some paint, new curtains, beads, flowers, and a little fimo clay vase and....

Here she is sitting on my coffee table...

And here is the detail...

Sorry the pictures are kinda blurry - for some reason my flash was acting wonky.

So, there ya have it, my first Craft Challenge!!! Hope you like it, it was a blast to do!!  Cheesy

EDITED TO ADD: Sorry, for some reason I can only get thumbnails...clicking on them should give a bigger picture. I'll keep working on it to see if I can fix it!!

LOOKING FOR A PERSONAL SWAP: I'm hoping for dinosaur-themed Xmas crackers, or other dinosaur Xmas items. I can make a Jayne Cobb hat, or many other things!
