When I saw this image at the thrift store, I immediately knew what I was going to do to it.

Thanks!

I drew the serpent on there. First, I used white paint to block out the background, then I drew the details with a Micron pen, then I did the colors with colored pencils.

Thanks, guys! I can't get enough ships or reptiles either. I think the secret is that I just like drawing all those scales. It appleals to my obsessive compulsions.

Actually, mentioning wall art reminds me of a question that I'm sure you crafty folks can help me with. This picture is just backed by a piece of cardboard. It looks like there used to be some hook to hang it on the wall, but that hook has ripped out of the cardboard. Does anyone have an idea of a sturdy way to attach a hook or wire to the cardboard? I'd like to hang this in my bathroom, but I'm afraid that the cardboard will rip if I stick anything through it and that glue may not hold.
