This project took a lot of will power to finish.  I don't like to paint, but it seemed necessary on this one.

I stared at this picture for at least 5 minutes in the store trying to decide if I could use it.  And then the idea struck me...

Before:

After:

And a couple close-ups since the picture isn't exactly the best (thanks to the glass that I couldn't manage to get out of the frame):

I was inspired by those plant and bird silhouettes that decorated the pages of last year's Urban Outfitters catalogues.  I think I liked those better than the clothes.

All in all I am pretty pleased with it, so I guess it was worth all the frustration.  I think it will find a new home in my bedroom.

Love it...thought the same thing when I saw it, that it looks like the Urban Outfitters graphics that I love so much too.

I would actually love to hang something like this on my wall, and you know you've really accomplished something because I would NEVER have hung the original up.  This is such a smart, pretty transformation.

Wow, this is nice.  I like how that "interesting" picture became picture full of cool design elements.  Great job!  The silhouettes totally work!

What a great job! My immediate thought was 'that would make the best print on fabric'  And I'm still thinking it.  I want to make a bag, and a skirt, and maybe a needle roll out of that design.

I like how you can see how the original picture was instead of completely changed, plus i'm a sucker for silhouettes  Wink
