I started out with this rather compelling, although pretty beat up print of a painting. I got it from the thrift store for $3 . I used colored pencil, pastels,(my printer), water color, tea, ribbon, glitter, and some elmers glue!
I have an idea of what the new image is about...but I wonder what you think it is...I only wish I would have discovered this challenge in time to do what I really wanted to! (I guess that's what everyone says) I think it shall be a work in progress...Anyway, here you have it! thanks for looking

Before.

After.
*I used colored pencil to clean up the scratches (they are really almost invisible from straight on).
*I added color to her lips, nails and cheeks and then colored the apple.
*Her halo is colored pencil/ pastel.( I wish I had some gold foil)
*The frame has a new ribbon edge and I started to glitter it, but stopped half way up. It looks a little firey. I dunno, I like it alright.
*The woman is partially cut out for depth
*The adams are print outs which I attempted to give a more sepia tone, but I didn't quite get them the shade I had hoped!

Greenified Apple, and "painted" nails
And her ..."entranced" Adams (all taken from famous paintings)
