I was the one who got the scarf! I love it! I am actually wearing it right now because it is so freaking cold here in chicago, for May! Anway, I just wanted to say thanks to Miss_Cute_Boots again!!!

I haven't heard from bridgetbarcode in a while, but the DC# says that she received on Monday so I figure I might as well post pictures of the stuff I sent her.


A tote bag. It's hard to make out, but there's knotwork mixed in with the flowers on the fabric.

That scarf looks complicated, I am sure she will love it, you have put in a lot of time and effort.

i hope my partner got her parcel, i sent it express airmail, but she is on holidays, so ihope she is back soon to open it. lol waiting is hard.

I finally got back to my apartment and got to see the package from cyndiq that's been waiting for me for over a week!
Here's what she sent -

a velvet clutch/pouch with an embroidered Irish dancer, a hand towel with embroidered celtic knot horse (I love horses!), pin cushion with embroidered celtic knot in some of my favorite colors, celtic heart bookmark, earrings, and a set of stamped notecards with coordinating pen

I am glad it got there safely and you like it I hope.
I searched for a long while to get the horse for you, they are not too common.
here is a closeup of the clutch zipper pull on the clutch purse. (my first clutch, new pattern so hope its ok).

you cant see but it has a cute celtic bead on it. The little clover is for luck in dancing, it is a free standing lace I make on my embroidery machine.
The book mark is freestanding lace that I also make on my embroidery machine.
Most embroidered pieces take about an hour to set up the design and stitch out, some biger things like lace bowls etc take ALL day. lol.
I hope u enjoy using the things for your dancing classes as you seem to want mostly that sort of thing this time around.

Oh and here is a closeup of the clutch, aerron does irish dancing and wanted something  small to carry things in for that. She wanted it decorated for irish dancing and on her wish list she asked for a pleated clutch or a black zipper purse. so i just ran with those ideas. I was lucky to find the irish dance girl silouette, it took a bit of searching. Its hard to read peoples mind, i hope you use it.  



I wish I had used more green in this swap, as I realize aerron really likes irish green, i just went by her list of favourite colours. I feel bad.

don't feel bad!  for a several reasons, i just have a LOT of green fabric (anyone who wants to swap for some clover green garbardine, let me know!  ), so i took the opportunity to use it for the stuff i crafted.  there really are very few colors that i don't like, so what you sent was great!
