This is my hat made out of neck ties.  I saw the last one posted and said to myself how easy that looked.  It barely took 30 mintues to zip together.
The tutorial was VERY helpful! Thanks craftster!

that's really cute though! is it lined or just regular?
or i dont know. did you sew them together like normal or just zig zag them together side by side? i'm interested in the seams

Yep, that Tutorial is the one I used.  I just zigzaged everything.  No lining.  It doesn't need it.
The only thing I did differently was this:
-I found no problem in keeping the tie lining inside. (she recommends taking it out)
-I needed on more tie than she did, but then she looks smaller than me!
