About 3AM today, I was stricken with a bout of insomnia. The Cure? No, The Clash! I like the graphic (which was pulled randomly from a t-shirt site and is probably copywritten. Hey, live dangerously) even though the execution was not so great.

This was made using the infamous curtain- sheers-and-embroidery-hoop-method. I haven't the space or the money for traditional screenprinting equipment. Someday.

In my sleep deprived state, I tried to touch up some of the letters, and that made them worse.

Thanks! I asked my dad (who does some copyright law) about the design thing, and he, too, said it was fine as long as I didn't sell it. Hopefully, I'll be able to get my hands on Photoshop and Illustrator, soon, so I can make my own designs.

while you're waiting for Photoshop & Illustrator, maybe you should check out The Gimp and Inkscape... both are free, do almost everything you'd need out of Pshop and Illustrator*, and work on Windows, Mac and Linux.

( * unless you're doing CYMK stuff for professional print. and if you're already used to Adobe's Photoshop interface, and can't get your head around Gimp's? do a search for GimpShop - it's Gimp gussied up to look and act like Photoshop. and it's still free.)
