So, I started making the branching out scarf from knitty for my mom for mother's day, but I'm lazy and only made it about 18 inches in. So, instead of giving my mom a very short scarf, I made it into a purse by sewing the sides shut and adding a button and a strap. She really likes it (she got a preview, she's not actually getting it until mothers day because I'm a brat). I'm pretty proud, it's my first lace project.
