Love! it! It would be great if the pattern appeared somewhere because it's stunning, but heads up - the author of the DNA cable has probably copyrighted the chart, so if you reproduce the chart, it might be infringing copyright. I'm not a lawyer (yet), so I can't say for sure, but just a thought.

That's an interesting point, and I always wonder about stuff like that. Say you pick up a book that has a cable chart in it you like, and you include it in a design. Do you give credit to the person who wrote the book? Designed the cable? What about techniques that have been knit for centuries? I guess it depends on how unique it is. The DNA cable is definitely more unique and innovative than, say, a braided cable. I actually almost emailed the creator and asked permission to use it in my design, but then I figured it wouldn't matter since I'm not selling it as my own.

I'll post pattern soon! I just want to figure out some sizing issues. Thanks for the compliments!
