My first thought is that they would make a really cute mobile... maybe painted different colors...

earrings, bracelets or a necklace
or you could use a syringe and fill them with different colors of water glue the lids shut and stick a magnet on the back
make a shadow box and use clear thread to suspend them in like an aquarium scene
fill them with handsanitzer, and stick them in your purse
make a mini fishing pole with a magnet on it and put different numbers on the fish and magnets and make a cute go fish game for kids.

Thanks for the ideas  guys. The magnet idea I have already tried but somehow they didn't look very good against my white fridge (maybe I should paint the fridge) and also filled some of the fish with tiny coloured beads and I painted others but the paint chipped off.

At the moment I'm toying with the idea of repetition seeing as I have maybe a hundred of these fish and that amount could grow if I continue to eat sushi Grin

I think I'll try and 'design' a mobile as you suggested woodchick and maybe a beaded curtain.
The idea of putting handy amounts of hand cream etc is great but the neck of the bottle is extremely narrow and think that'd be difficult even with the teeny tiny funnel I have for decanting perfume in to fancy bottles...........b ut I'll try.

The aquarium scene also gives me an idea as I am planning to make jars of found objects or memories to give to friends and family as gifts , so the fish could be incorporated into the jars too.

Thanks again i definmatly have something to be thinking about ...........let me know if you think of anything else. Roll Eyes

Now this, to me, is the epitome of the Craftster way of thinking. 5 centimeter fish don't look good against your refridgerator, so the first thing you think about is re-painting the fridge.  I love it!  Grin

lol you could fill one with mouthwash and make a keychain out of it for a quick breath freshener throughout the day
or if you have enough of them you could make some sort of curtain for a window and leave them clear so the light can shine though them..or fill them with colored water  or make early christmas tree ordaments and have a fishy themed christmas tree this year  Tongue

I would get a strand of coloured christmas lights and cut the tip of the bottle so that it can fit over the top of each light. Now I wish that I liked sushi just so I could have these bottles!  Cheesy

Which really made me laugh  Grin because I think like this all the time and its not until someone else points it out that you realise what your saying........PLUS this is the reason my husband is so afraid to leave the house cos he just knows how I think Grin

With the decanting idea, as a sushi addict myself, if you squeeze the bottle, it will suck up most things if they're not too thick. I also use them for salad dressing (so my salad doesn't go soggy by the time I get around to eating it!)
