Finished this today...woohoo!  I reupholstered this footstool, and instead of re-doing the attached cushion, (which I HATED), I tufted it to make the top remain where it's supposed to be instead of shifting around.  The old attached cushion was constantly pushed to one side or the other.  Now it behaves.

I think that's really beautiful.  Some of my furniture (especially one couch - it has a hole through the top so big you can see all the springs down the side) is begging to be recovered.  I wish I had the guts.  Bravo!
