OOOOh.... Shocked What kind of mesh are you going for??? A diamond pattern or square pattern (like the knot ugly shrug)?

Great job!

I actually like your Knot Ugly wrap better then the shrug....I'm going to have to make the same mistake when I make it too  Grin

Probably diamond. Kind of like the fishnet stitch in the book, maybe? I think that would look nicer, and could have a cool pointy edging on the sleeves and hem if I blocked it well. I like pointy. ^_^

Shocked I love to see people making awesome stuff with cheap yarn like your frou-frou, because that's about all I can ever get my hands on. Bernat Satin is probably my favourite. What size hook did you end up using? Did you get guage with it? How many balls did you use?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'd LOVE to make the Frou-Frou, and now that I've seen how lovely yours looks in that yarn I might be able to afford it!

I used a 6.5 mm hook, since I couldn't find a 7mm, but I got gauge anyway. I think I bought about 12 balls of Satin to make sure I had enough, but only ended up using about 9 1/2. It's quite comfy, and the Satin is nice against the skin, unlike most acrylics. Since I'm a student, I'm all about the cheap yarns. ^_^
