i found a swag fixture for like a dollar at a yard sale, and i wanted to make a modern glass shade that didn't take as much time as the nugget stained glass shade that i made.  i found a hurricanne candle shade glass thing at michaels, and i glued some clear nuggets (i'm addicted to nuggets) around it in a simple pattern.  the effect is of a really expensive fixture of blown and molded glass.

BTW 3M makes the best adhesive for glass ever! it's a maximun strength adh. in a small white tube. i use it for everything! it dries clear and holds within minutes.  it also doesn't have any pain in the rear mixing like other epoxies.

What a brilliant idea!  So simple, but it really looks unique and complex.
