From faded dull chinese woman to Dirty pink Fallen angel Husky Hybrid thing

Phew! Almost didn't get this posted, did it around a month ago and forgot about this.
Anyway, here's the original image that I bought from the charity shop for 50p ($1 ish):



It was all faded and dull which is sort of what inspired me to do what I did.
When I first saw it I thought of making her into some kind of angel 'cause she looks sort of holyish,
but then I thought, why make her into an angel, when you can make her into a demon. So here's
my revamped piece:





It's all collaged, the first thing I did was make the dress brighter and expand it outside the box thing
it was in. Then I put the husky head on and added the wing, changed one of the pieces of art on the
wall behind the woman, and added the roses. It still looked kind of boring though and as she looked like
she was holding something I thought meh, why not a gas pump. The final things I did were covering that horrible wood printed background and painted everything. I made it look dirtyer (is that even a word) to run with the fallen angel kinda thing. I still find it horrifically tacky though so it's hidden away. Anyway thanks for

ha! when i read your title i was like 'huh?' - but it perfectly describes it - wicked job - don't hide it, it's too cool for that

The book is about half-dog-half-synthetic-people-beings, and has a dark side, kinda like this painting!

That is an AMAZING transformation. It all fitrs together so well, which is especially impressive since it's so surreal. 
I would love that for my bedroom - it would fit with the pink/flower theme, but it would set off the cutesy sweetness in there (which is something which desperately needs to be done).

Would you consider selling or trading it?

That is so great-I can't believe you think it looks tacky.  You should definitely try selling it.  I might be interested if it wasn't that expensive.

love the colors and the overall look.  that's a great job on how you kept the original dusty feel, and changed it a bit.  somthing i'd consider having.  if my husband didn't think i had too much art hanging already that is

That's really pretty! I've been wanting to try some collage-ing (?) lately. I like that she turned into a dog. And I think this is the longest subject title/description I've seen on here.
