Well, if you guys love the YA vampire books, have I got a treat for you!  My sister has a YA vampire book being published early next summer, I'll keep ya posted if you like, or better yet just keep an eye on her blog:

http://www.blogsbite.blogspot.com

The book is "The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod" and it's to be a series.  The first two books have been purchased already.  Yeah!!!!  I proofread for her and loved the book.

Thanks WitchyBelle!  I'm very proud of her!  She's funny and smart and now she'll eventually be rich - what more could you want in a sister?LOL

OOOOHHHH Vampires! YUM!  I love Charlaine Harris. I just read her new one, I sooo want Eric. Bill's a noid. I just started getting into L.J. Smith books. Witchybelle4u2, Anne Rice did have a few good books....but in a completely different genre.

Do you mean the...ah...SLEEPING BEAUTY series? Yeah, I so remember almost getting kicked out of Classic Novels for those.... *blush* Funnily enough, I was just telling some of the girls at work about the books Anne Rice wrote under a different name. Wink

Ah yes, THOSE books.  I was looking for something to read once and my roommate handed them to me.  Boy, was I surprised!  But they are well written!

One of the things I don't really like about Anne Rice is that she goes into way too much detail about the little things....Something that you really don't mind in the Sleeping Beauty books.  Grin

What about favourite vampire movies? My hubby's made me watch Dracula AD and The Satanic Rites of Dracula about a MILLION times....But my favourite vamp movies (sadly?) are Dracula Rising (ooooh so cheesy) and My Best Friend is a Vampire, which I just can't seem to find on dvd! How about everyone else?

The really cheesy vampire movies are the best!  I do love "Fright Night" and I think it's John Carpenter's "Vampires".  Oh!  And "Once Bitten"!!!LOLOL
