I have never heard of  "cradle purse" does the cradle also store things like a purse?  Your things look very cuddly andcozy!.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question - but is this really a purse?  If so, where are the handles, if not, what is it?

The bottom skirt  ruffle has two crocheted strings running threw it,you pull up the skirts then pull the strings and you have a purse.Lift up the top skirt and there is a place to store the clothes.

Sounds neat - any chance of posting a picture of the purse 'closed'?

My mommy made me one of those when I was little...oh the memories...Sniff... Cry I have no idea what happened to it. It was no where near as elaborate as your though. It didn't have all the ruffles, I think it had one ruffle on the bottom and that was it. I had forgotten all about it! Now I'm going to have to try and find it for my daughter.
