well, Here i am, 10 am, 14 kids sitting down waiting to paint there tigers orange. So were painitng, ok no biggie till they start missing. Theres orange (blaze orange) paint on the table. I go off and get a wet towel and start wiping it down. Well, it didnt cut it. SO i get the soft scub and im scubbing away. I get done and we all run outside. All of a sudden I feel this burning on the top of my leg, and I look down. Theres a nice thin white stripe. This is when it sinks in thats theres bleach in the softscrub and ive just bleached my pant.  Im alerigic to bleach so this hurt big time. Well, I run in and scurb my leg but ive ruined yet another pair of pants. ANy idea on how to save them?

other than appliqueing them or something, i don't know how you can save them

well maybe make shorts?  or a skirt?  ehh, but i guess you want to keep them in pant-form...

you could try bleaching them entirely and redying them again with rit dye. I've never tried that myself, but it seems like that could work.

When I was a waitress I inadvertently bleached my (black) aprons and (black) pants all the time. I filled in the color w/Sharpie. It needed to be re-Sharpied after a few washes but this method worked until the pants or apron got worn out and had to be replaced. If you don't want to try the Sharpie thing (not that I would blame you) then I support the bleaching and re-dying suggestion. What could it hurt if they are already ruined?

you could always try patching them with similar material.  i've successfully salvaged three pairs of jeans that my dog tore the crotch out of.  oh, pets and children: the destruction of all my clothes.
