Yarn Stores in Cincinnati

Howdy! I've noticed a lot of Cincinnati folks on the boards and decided I should tap in to this resource. I just moved to the Nati a few weeks ago and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the best yarn stores in the area. Thanks, kids!

I live in Northern Ky. Just across the river in Belluve is Knit on Home and in Crescent Springs their is Knitwits. They both have web sites...( not sure how to get in my reply) both sites will give directions and offer classes. Both these are about 10 min. from downtown Nati. Grin

there is also one near me on cincinnati-dayton of i-75 called "yarn & fabrications." i think i've seen one in sharonville too, but i'm not sure.

I live in cincinnati but I make the short drive to northen KY to go to Knit On! They are really sweet and have great prices and tons of yarn!

Whatever you do- avoid 'one more stitch'.... they are evil and high priced!

I have long since moved from my beloved Cincinnati, but just in case anyone found my thread, you need to know the best yarn store in the greater Cincinnati area is Lambikins (http://www.lambikinshideaway.com/) in Hamilton.

Believe me, it's worth the trip!

I'm from Cincinnati but moved to Minneapolis/St. Paul a year ago. Last week I came home for a visit and had some free time during the day while my mom was at work at UC. I stopped by One More Stitch to check it out and was FLABBERGASTED at how absurdly high their prices are. I wonder if people in hyde park actually pay those prices. I didn't buy a single thing, and really wanted to tell the woman in there that I thought the prices were obscene.
