cageofwords ~ crochet obsessive ~

Hi everyone.  I'm a "newbie" from Australia and finally summoned the courage to post something I'd made.  I usually make clothes for me to wear but decided to try a soft toy for my new neice and made this:

The second photo the lamb is leaning on another soft toy I made - crocheted sc ball made in 12 ply (which I thnk is called bulky weight in USA).  Really really easy - only an hour in front of the TV.  You put a couple of small bells inside and it makes a really great present that little babies love.

The wool coat on the lamb was really fun to make!

Thanks for looking.

It is adorable!  I love it in those natural colors.  And that wool coat is fab!  Do you fill it with poly fil or the heavier pellets?  I don't suppose you'd consider sharing the pattern?

But I still will believe.
And I will rise up with fists!
And I will take what is mine, mine, mine.
There but for the grace of God go I.

That lamb is so totally adorable - definitely one of the cutest crocheted stuffies I've seen.
