I have been so busy with swaps that I forgot about my own Spring purse!  I carry a cell, lip gloss, sunglasses, and a wallet with a zillion pockets!  Of course, my tote carries everything else!  Cheesy

I have tons of vintage kimono fabrics from my wall hangings and quilts so I decided to piece a bunch of the smaller pieces together and make my current favorite craft:  a purse!!  They are so easy that so far I have made about eight of them!  This one is my fav cos it goes with my jeans, which I wear to work everyday!  Lining is a simple black satin and the strap is a reinforced cording.  I beaded a bauble for the tab but the pic does not show it! Undecided

Here ya go:  my own Spring Bag

My mother's family in Japan; ebay; lots of places I found on the Internet--ah-kimono is my favorite! so is minokame because they sell small pieces instead of those nasty big bundles I used to order!

I have a huge basket that I throw all my scraps in and then I sit on the living room floor and sort through to find compatible colors to make the bags!  A big mess but lots of fun!

Thanks for looking and the compliments all!

beautiful!!  I found I was keeping alot of scraps, but threw a bunch away because they were too small to make anything worth while.  Your bag is gorgeous!
