I saw the One Skein Wonder and thought it was lovely, but a) I have no money to buy patterns and b) I can never find circular or double-pointed needles that are the right size for this sort of thing - so does anyone have a shrug pattern that you could do on straight needles?

Also check out the Anthropologie inspired capelet in this thread:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=62184.0

And the Everyone's doing it Shrug here - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=48268.0, pattern is here - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=48268.2

Then there's the Circular shrug http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=58497.0 which has the pattern on another site somewhere...

All are knit on straight needles.

Thanks!  I just bought this pattern from GirliePurlie: http://girliepurlie.blogspot.com/2005/09/shrug-for-knitters-afraid-of-sweaters.html and I can't wait to try it!  But I think I might have a go at the others, as well...
