I received mine today!!! Here it is! I'm so excited!

AWESOME PAPER! There are camels, Russian dolls, birds on a power line, buttons, flowers, stars, japanese fans, mushrooms, frogs, everything!

A close up of some of my favorites!

More paper! Adorable little cartoons, vintage Santa Claus coasters, ribbon, and sign language stickers!

A close up of the smaller things - some yarn, tiny cards, little keys and hearts, a book opening knob, and other things I'm sure I'll find uses for Cheesy

Thank you so much taped_on_wings!

Look what I received from Poppysmum! She's decided to spoil me rotten with a whole box from Japan:

and the contents;

There was origami paper in various sizes and even some that is circular, stickers, a small children's book in Japanese (a baby boy is found by elderly couple in floating something-or-other and he grows up, befriends animals and slays demons!), ads for contemporary Japanese design and other products, newspaper with great images and text (including an astronomical map with all the constellations in Japanese), various game cards (kids and samurai), a piece of material, etc...

It wouldn't even all fit on the table.

Utterly amazing! I don't know what I've done to deserve such bounty.  Grin

Thank you thank you thank you Poppysmum!! It was so fun to open all the little packages, evelops and boxes. You're too kind! This will keep me busy for a long time.  Grin

I'm sorry I didn't check on this earlier - I've let myself get too busy  :-P

I've PM'd her - hopefully it's gone out and she's just been too busy to post.

I'm so glad you like everything minnouette! Once I started I just couldn't stop so that's why you got the box. Also I wanted to make up for the fact that I couldn't get you more 'washi' type paper as I have killer 'all day sickness' & I'm not out & about much right now.

Anyhoo, on to the good stuff! This is what minnouette sent me...

and...

and...

Now as my photography skills aren't that great I'll fill ya in on what she sent.

1. Most stuff is in French, Dutch & German with a little English.
2. Fabulous old postcards from Holland, some written on too!
3. Postcards from Toronto, articles from Germany, geophysical maps in French!
4. Copies of illustrations from "Garbage Delight" & "Alligator Pie".
5.Lots of what looks like hand printed bibs & bobs which I LOVE & a 'zine from Toronto as well!
6. And last but not least the print of the Griffin that minnouette made her self! I love it most of all I think.

My mind is just swimming with new projects to do with all my new stash!
Thanks soooooo much minouette, you're my new best friend! Grin

Oh yeah, did you know that minnouette went to Holland just to get me the dutch stuff I so crave... Wink

LOL! Oh yes... send me on paper and ephemera missions! I'll go anywhere Wink (so long as my employers choose to send me to a conference there or you want to contract me as your paper agent...)

I'm so glad you like your stuff, poppysmum.  Grin I hope that if you are housebound that at least you can be creative with your new paper stash and I really hope you are feeling better soon!

Take care.
