I embroidered this for the Princess Bride swap:

It's actually a white hankie, but I spread it on a navy chair to snap the pic.
(note to self: don't do that again)

Gypsygurl, I've practiced lots and lots.  What I used to do was write out the quote with one of those disappearing ink quilting markers, so I recommend that method for keeping letters neat--well, if you have neat handwriting, at least.

princess bride is THE best movie, and that to me is one of the best quotes in the movie.  beautiful work, and i'm taking your great advice on the lettering, i think i'm going to try doing a hankie myself.   Cheesy
