We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box

omg you are all so sweet..

I am waiting for another shirt- which Ill prolly get today or tomorrow (bf says he has a few more and now everyone wants to donate their shirts to me). Once I get a usable shirt, the tut will begin.

Get your big button downs ready. The bigger the better on this project.

Ill be trying to fix the thread issue on my machine tonight. Ill definately check the bobbin, etc..

Thank you all again!

Ill be trying to fix the thread issue on my machine tonight. Ill definately check the bobbin, etc..

Last time my sewing machine pulled this loopy thread crap, I did a thorough search on Craftster for "help me fix my sewing machine" threads and discovered this link. Troubleshooting for your sewing machine, and there's a separate page on adjusting the tension if it looks like that might be the problem. When you try and fix your sewing machine, first go through and clean out all the dust and snagged thread bits from the bobbin mechanism, maybe lube it a little if needed, and then run through the troubleshooting list. Sometimes I change the needle for good luck. :-p

OK so get this, Im following everyones advice on my machine, and I take the bobbin out and start cleaning it with the little cleaner brush and there WAS a piece of thread stuck way in the back corner of the bobbin casing. Now Im thinking "nooooooooooooooooooooooooo this little piece of thread cant possibly be causing all of this drama" well, I took it out, and reloaded

Stitches are perfect now

GO FRIGGIN FIGURE

As for the tut, I have the update done but am waiting on more shirts to take pics..

Thank you everyone for all of your advice on how to fix the machine.
