Hey crafty spokanites! I work at a local quilt store and we regularly have guilds and groups meet there, and i was wondering if there was any interest in having a craft meetup? The meeting rooms are free, and the only thing we would be have to pay would be if you wanted to buy something.

Let me know if you have any questions. i am the only crafter i see on a regular basis that is not 50+, and am excited about the prospect of a local crafts group that is not based around making things for their grandchildren. Tongue

Where's Riverside Park?  Is that near Peaceful Valley, or are you talking about Riverfront Park?

I don't knit, but it would have been fun to meet up!  Cheesy  Did anyone meet there?  I hope you guys had fun if you did!   Cheesy

Oh!   How wonderful.  I'm a Spokanite as well...  We could do in town craft swaps, now wouldn't that be wonderful?

I'm an Eastern student and a nanny...  What does everyone else do?

That's a great idea!!!  What sort of crafty things are you all in to?  I do a lot of purse making, card making, and papercraft.  I'm looking for a sewing machine right now, a reasonable one, to hopefully get some projects off the ground.
