hello
i found this pooh painting at goodwill for $2.99.  measures approx. 16"x16". The piece came with a frame attached to it already.
the entire thing was a little beat up.

my first job was to remove the slick paint that outlined pooh and his balloon. then i turned the painting upside down and got to work.

if you look closely you can still see part of pooh and his balloon inside the groovy design.
i had to leave at least part of him there(my guilty conscience would not let me completely cover the piece).
i also repainted the frame a powder blue like the original background color.
i hope everyone likes!!!
this is fun fun fun

Oooh I love love love it.  The heel looks Pucci-esque, and it really pops out at you.  I can't believe you turned such a silly, useless, painting into something so hangable!  It reminds me of the work of another artist I saw in Domino magazine a while ago...I wish I could remember her name. She does shoes, and lipsticks, etc, in her paintings.  But actually I like yours better!

The heel looks great! It took me a second to find Pooh, but I was quite glad when I did. Great job!

LOOKING FOR A PERSONAL SWAP: I'm hoping for dinosaur-themed Xmas crackers, or other dinosaur Xmas items. I can make a Jayne Cobb hat, or many other things!
