Yay!

Well, I'm SeeMe, in Canada. Hi. My birthday is May 8th (The day Coca Cola was invented in 1886, AND the day Germany surrendered, in 1945. SeeMe's cool.) and ohmaghawd, gonna be 20. That's two decades old, man. And, of course, I want things. Who don't, eh?

Things SeeMe Would Like (But may not get.)

 - Yarn: Handdyed, machine dyed, natural fiber, acrylic, handspun, machine spun... SeeMe likes yarn.

 - The Samus Aran, or the Starsky coat, or, ooh, Anticipation from knitty.com  PM for measurements and colours?

 -World Peace

 - Lemonheads. gaahhh. Lemonheads.

 - Money from anywhere in the world except Mexico, the US and Canada. Money is cool lookin'. I'm not saying like, ten pound notes, maybe like a couple of coins, and the smallest paper bill? (If you want.)

 - Uh, maybe a How To Needlefelt kit?

- This is probably pushing it, but a new AC adapter thingy for my laptop? *sighs* mine is trying to die on me and they want an obscene fortune for a replacement.

 - Pretty much anything Harry Potter themed. My favourite characters are: Voldemort, Snape, Peter Pettigrew.  yeeaaah. I would love a Death Eater themed football type jersey... just pm me for measurements or

 - Books: A Clockwork Orange, Logan's Run, The Witches of Eastwick..

 - A copy of the move Soylent Green, maybe..

 - http://www.theanticraft.com/archive/samhain05/eternalembrace.htm  this, only maybe with longer sleeves and a design on the sleeves? I dunno. again pm for measurements.

 - uh... Anything Family Guy related. I love Stewie and Brian--yay!

 - A piece of art like this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=92970.0 . Not exactly like it but...just something way the hell out there, something insane.

 - A kimono? *heart-eyes*

 - Johnny Depp

 - If Johnny Depp isn't available, I'll take Skeet Ulrich. They look a lot alike....

 - Oh yeah! Packages of pinapple pina koolaid. I love the colour this makes when dying yarn!

-A  SURPRISE. Of doom! Doom is not nessecary. uh, yeh.

Lessee, a bio thingy. Well, I'm SeeMe. Hi. How's it going. I like things. All kinds of random things. My favourite colour is black (wah wah technically not a colour, so on so forth) but black is boring. I am trying to expand my wardrobe with mroe colours and styles, because damn near eerything I own is black. I love nearly all colours of the rainbow. I don't really love orange, but I will wear it every so often. And Lime green's cool, but... not cool enough for me to want to cover my fat ass in it. Um. if you want to make me a wearable, please no wool. It makes SeeMe itch. SeeMe prefers acrylics and synthetics to natural fibers, because they don't make SeeMe itch. Lessee...  I like knitting, crocheting, lying about my hobbies, writing, studying law, saving the world, reading, and ... other stuff I ca't think of. Seriously, I'll probably come up with a better bio later. Oh, and please no jewlerryy, I can't wear it. My body doesn't like things shoved in... Stopping now.

My name is Natalie, and I'll be turning 22 on May 26! I live in the USA.

I'll be graduating the week before my birthday, so I don't think I'll get to do anything special on my day. :/ And although I'd much rather celebrate the birthday instead of the graduation, the family makes that decision for me. Hmmph.

Anyhow, here's the list:

1.   A Learn to Crochet kitI love knitting, but I dont have the time!
2.   Knit argyle headband (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=74104.0) colors: brown&turquoise, brown&green, brown&orange, or any other earthy combination
3.   Quilted hot pads/oven mitts--I'm moving out and am afraid of burning myself.
4.   Coasterscheck out my Wists for a variety of styles I enjoy.
5.   A crocheted shawl--use your imagination on this one. (:
6.   Embroidered kitchen towels nature themes: trees, sunset, birds, squirrels, etc.
7.   Clock
8.   Bed pillowhow cute is this?! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84589.0
9.   Jewelry boxmy necklaces have nowhere to sleep at night :/
10.   Make-up/travel bag: something lined with a vinyl-type material so spills are easily cleaned. A rectangle bottom would be great or even something like this (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=26473.0 or http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=26939.0). Thanks Krysta!
11.   V-neck top (like this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=28382.0): any solid color would be great (not pink or white)I like the butterfly print she used, as well as small floral designs (like these: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=29343.msg245098#msg245098) PM me for measurements (:
12.   Knee-length skirt (maybe like this? http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=29833.0): same color/print preferences as the v-neck
13.   Reconned hoodie (like this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=39134.0;topicseen): Ill send you a shirt and fabric if you want! I just cant sew clothing for my life.
14.   A knit tank topmaybe something like this? (http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATTsoleil.html) It doesnt have to look exactly like that, but I dont like to be exposed, so something conservative would be nice. PM me for measurements.
15.   A surprise!

About me: I'm graduating in May with a B.S. in elementary education. I'll be starting a Library Science Master's program in the fall because I aspire to be a children's/school librarian. I'm moving out at the end of the summer and am actually terrified. I feel like I'm too old to have these fears, but I've never lived away from home, so I'd say they're justified. Craft-wise, I'm a bookbinder at best, knitter at worst (though I'm awesome at small projects). I like to sew too, though the straight line has not been accomplished yet. My favorite colors are brown, green, orange, blues (teal/turquoise) and anything deep or muted. I hate pink, dislike white, and am not a fan of black. I love corduroy and floral print, and I do not like polka dots or checkered patterns. Stripes are growing on me. I'm a rather simple gal and like earthy things. I love squirrels and chipmunks and trees. Anything else, feel free to ask!

Heya everyone. Happy Belated, Early or to come Birthday!! I'm Krysta and I'm gonna be good ole 24 on May 18th. (Born two years after Mount St. Helens blew up! - the ash reached all the way up here). I live in British Columbia, Canada and would love:

- your own plush/sock monkey creation... (little owls, deers, monsters... anything really!)

- a new bag of some sort - nothing too huge, but nothing too small. Any style is fine. Right now I carry a large hobo from Old Navy, so something similar but smaller would be great. Something in a light summery colour

- a new wallet would be great - card holders needed, change pocket optional. I love these ones:

and
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=85871.msg820202#msg820202

- a screenprinted tee - with birds or flowers on it
Images for reference:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/54469047@N00/127967922/in/set-72057594106141328/

- artwork! I just moved into my house 2 months ago and only have 1 picture hanging up in my craft room... some more would be nice!
I love these ones:
This one - , this one... - this one too! - oh I just found this one - and this one!

- jewellery! I love long beaded necklaces, earrings, bracelets/cuffs/charm bracelets and anklets. Any style is fine Grin If you make earrings, please no nickel in the hooks -  I'm allergic and can only stand having them in there for 5 mins. THANK YOU!!!

- craft supplies goodie grab bag! Any sort of fabrics, buttons, lace, ribbon, paper, stickers, magazines - anything!

-1" buttons/badges - I like to pin them everywhere

- a diy resin kit or some resin jewellery/magnets

- marble magnets in any style! something cute would be great. THANK YOU!!!

- beads, charms and findings! Anything. I don't have much of a selection around here - just Walmart for beads so anything will do!

- a recon'ed hoodie or a plain hoodie for me to recon

- anything to use in altered art - and I mean anything. Wink

- mixed paper journal that I can use as an art journal.

- a mini shrine/decorated altoid tin!  Something with the themes of: dreams, inspiration, art, creative, love, summer...

- crochet/knit armwarmers - I know its a weird request at this time of the year but I have really poor wrists and they get cold and sore often so something like that would be great.

- a surprise!

A little about me: I'm 23 going on 24 and have just purchased my first house with my boyfriend, Kevin. If I'm not at work I'm either hanging with Kevin or my family, working on the house or of course, crafting! I work at my local college in the mailroom and often help out in the duplicating room as well. I love to be outdoors - hiking, camping, sitting in the sun reading a book, swimming, boating. But I also like to be indoors - curled up under a warm blanket with a hot cocoa or tea and a really good book. I find myself to be fairly easy going and easy to please. Woo!

I enjoy: little animals, sea creatures, things with wings, flowers, the colours brown, eggplant, turquoise, aqua, blue, green, yellow, orange, red... all colours!

If you need/want any other info just ask me or if you want to keep your identity a secret, ask someone else to ask me. Grin

Be what you would seem to be - or, if you'd like it put more simply - never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.
