i really like geishas so i painted one using pointalism, i did it with a q-tip with acrylics. the dots on what is supposed to be a fan are sequins. the frame around it is made out of peach blossom branches and little jade beads.  her dress is made out of a cotton silk, and taffeta, and thats it. i hope you guys and gals like.

the message reads: "the very word geisha means artist and to be geisha means to be judged as a moving work of art"
its from the book Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
