Here's my entry.  Got the picture at the thrift store for 30 cents!  It is covered with colored sand.  I wanted to show a little dimension, so I didnt completely cover the painting.......

Ah, The Kiss

Very nice. Just a bit of trivia--did you know that in the original The Kiss, the man's robe (and a lot of other things) Are actually gold leaf? It is amazing.  Don't tell the original artist (i think he's dead, but just in case) I like yours better.

i didnt know that.  i liked the painting b4 i did anything to it, and if it werent pretty beat up i dont think i would have used it for the revamp.... but i like the way it turned out, so it worked out after all
