Hi,
I'm 27, work as a teacher at a folk high school in Sweden (very creative and fun), and I'm an aspiring writer. I craft all the time - I bind books, make jewelry, sew bags etc. I love to travel, especially to Italy and London, and I love art (Van Gogh, Kahlo, Kandinsky, da Vinci, Michelangelo and lots of other artists), music and photography. I also like dragons, faeries, unicorns, castles and stuff. Smiley

Wish list:

Smiley

* Custom / altered My Little Pony (more like art than a toy; doesn't have to be child friendly at all), inspired by this thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84194.0 . Maybe a dangerous looking or artsy one or a punk rock one... or something Smiley

* A small crocheted turtle like Pokette: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72671.0 wow! Thanks!
* Something fantasy / fairy tale themed yaay! Cheesy

* A hand printed / painted / something T-shirt

* Craft supplies like glass or stone beads and nickel free findings oh my goodness! I'm getting spoiled! Thank you!
* A collage or painting to hang on my wall

* Rubber stamps

Some colours I like: pink, black, purple, yellow, green, gold

Some stuff I don't like: animal products/parts like leather and feathers.

**Excited about first swap!** Cheesy

Fabric

Fat Quarters of purple or yellow - I'm planning to make a quilt for our bed and am collecting fabrics for it right now.  Small prints or patterns would be best but nothing creepy, I like pretty rather

A nice big tote bag.  Bright colors!

Oven mitts

I'd love a plush teddy bear - around 12" would be great!

12" squares - any pretty colors and nice pattern would be fine but if you need inspiration, check out this website:  http://www.quilterscache.com/BlocksbySizeC.html

Cross-stitch

A teapot picture with the teapot measuring about 3" x 3" and the aida cloth at least 6" x 6" so I can frame it to match the few others I have.

Any picture that features tulips, scarecrows or sunflowers

Wooden Items

Something to stand on my display shelves, that's under 12" tall, and relating to tulips, scarecrows or sunflowers.

Rail pet - if you're a wood worker you may know what I mean but if not, check out this for ideas:   http://www.thewinfieldcollection.com/csearch.aspx?search=rail+pet

Crochet

An amigurumi - something from the animal kingdom

12" squares - nice bright colors and any pattern is great.

Eeyore, Pooh or Tigger crocheted in thread - I already have Piglet and he's getting lonely for his friends.

Other

I collect miniature kitchen utensils so anything to add to this collection would be appreicated.

I need a summer purse - nothing too big - sewn, knitted, crocheted or any other kind you make.

A Surprise - anything nice you would want to make for me  Grin

I'm Rae. I'm in Toronto, ON. I'm a fine art student turning animation student. I love cartoons, and toys, and video games. My dream is to work in character design. Some of my favourite designs are Hexidecimal from Reboot, Gimpy from Undergrads, and the Nobodies from Kingdom Hearts. My favourite show is Samurai Jack (it's just sooo artsy XD). Some of my favourite Artists are Edgar Degas, Tim Burton and Christopher Shy.

Supplies:

1. I've found a new passion for lace. If you've got more lace than you know what to do with.. send it my way.

2. Polar fleece with interesting patterns would be good too. Also.. any faux fur that you're sick of would be loved too.

3. Mohair in solid colours would be terribly appreciated.

4. Any spare buttons you don't know what to do with would be loved too.

5. Circular needles and a pattern to knit a hooded sweater.

6. White grommit tape.

7. Kids swimming goggles from the dollar store. ( a couple pairs would be good)

8. An old deck of cards (new ones aren't all pretty and stained and faded).

9. Any Jones Soda labels.. as intact as possible with different photos please Smiley

10. Small  metal zippers (no longer than 10").

11. Glow in the dark ribbon or rick rack or thread.. or paint.. or fabric paint... or really any supplies that glow in the dark would be awesome..

other stuff:

1. I'm in desperate need of some manner of organization. I'm living out of boxes and bags right now.. heck anyone who's got any tips on living organized send them my way XD.

2. I've recently started a collection of badges (like girlscout badges) Any small embrodered or stencilled patch of that nature would go straight on my backpack.

3. I have a ton of sketchbooks that all look exactly the same. If anyone's brave and wants to try sewing (or knitting or crocheting) a cover or two that would be awesome. I like almost any pattern. I'm not a big fan of baby blue or baby pink mixed with chocolate brown.. but if it's in an awesome pattern it's a safe bet I'll like it despite the colours. I can give you the dimensions if you need them.

4. I love dolls, and stuffed toys. I like the style of quasi stuffies that Roman Dirge draws, and sort of creepy dolls like that. I'd rather not get a doll that's all store-bought felt.(but again.. with great craftsmanship comes diregard for the medium) Interesting textured fabrics are always a plus (I'm the girl that wanders through a fabric store petting material.)

5. I would love a my little pony revamp.. doesn't even have to be a new one.. I think I'd prefer it if it weren't. Just some old sad little pony you found at the good will in need of a bit of loving and a makeover would be great. Hardware and lace is an excellent stylistic combination.

6. Incense..could be home made or store bought.. just not the huge packs you get at bargain stores ;] I like fruity and sweet smells.. not a fan of musks or really artificial flowery smells.

7. 4"x4" knit or crocheted squares. I'm making a quilt. Blueish or white only please Smiley

8. Something yummy and catnippy for my kitty.

9. A Mix CD of your favourite artists that aren't on the radio a lot. No hip-hop, country or rap please.. my roommates would beat me up ;] Folk or Jazz would be great.. or industrial, trance, or tecno.. I like heavy, dirty lilting bass that makes you need to dance when you hear it.

10. A black babydoll T. I'm about a medium. Some of my favourite motifs are suns, skulls, hearts, roses, and sock puppets. Possibly one that says "I draw a lot.", "Feel through the form." "I got Stussed." "I need my Special Ed time." "Petition to clone Ed. (sign back)" or "I'm taking my skeleton for a walk." Or one that has the Hexadecimal Icon from Reboot, or a big no symbol on the front in red.

11. I'd love a mini messenger bag big enough for a couple 9"x12" hardcover sketchbooks in black with an image of the Venus de Willendorf on it. or a T-shirt with the Venus de Willendorf on it.

12. Healthy, quick, and tasty recipes you like would be great too.

Thank you mystery craftster for picking me.

Hi,

I'm from NY. My wishlist:

1- Amy Butler type of fabric- actually any type of fabric you have- preferably about a yard long.

2- A bag like this:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=31017.0

3- Felt bead necklace like the purple one in the link below.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21330.0

4- A clutch like the Sex and the City one. I would love the white knitted one that has cables in it on the dowels.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=32972.140
Thank you rockstr009!!

5- A painting inspired by Monet to dress up my bedroom.

6- A diy kit for sewing a specific project that you are good at. I'm a beginner sewer and I work well with patterns but I would love to learn some new projects. For example: If you're good at making Jordy bags or a certain type of skirt than you could send me a picture filled tutorial and some materials to aid me. I can make a lot of basic things so I would love learning something with more difficulty. If you need me to be clearer you can PM me.

7- A wallet made of some big bold flower fabric [not paisley flower like] Pretty please!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=87323.0
The fabric and style is perfect.

8-- DIY stencil kit or Kanzashi flower kit. I'm loving the kits that you guys put together- every one I've gotten has been incredibly amazing!

9- A knitted headband like this one:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=74104.0
I love the colors used in it too.

10- I love everything about this orange clutch:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=77766.0

11- A bag knitting bag like the green one down at the bottom of the page. I love the color!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=88284.10

12- Any Amy Butler patterns that you have [with all pattern pieces and directions, please]

14- Anything on my wists   Cheesy

15- I'm sort of in a long distance relationship and I would love a kit that would help cheer me up for the times that my boyfriend isn't here. OR a kit that would help motivate me to work out and eat better. The whole winter I've been living on a diet of cheese doodles and brownies. Hehe.

16- A fleece hat with ears on it [with directions included so I can learn how to make more] Yea! Thank you so much racehorse87!

17- Anything and everything to help me sell more things on my etsy shop or to make it more professional for when I do.   Grin

18- Supplies- Fabric that is 1/2 yard or longer, pretty yarn, paper for scrapbooking or bookbinding, zippers, purse handles, interfacing, ribbons, anything and everything.

About me: I'm 22 and I'm going for my masters in early education. I work at a daycare center in a classroom filled with four year olds. I love to knit [beginner], crochet, cook, and sew. I want to broaden my crafting horizons though so I want to learn some new things. I love dark gem-like colors, especially blues, plums, and reds.  I'm a simple girly-girl. I think this picture best sums up my style: http://static.flickr.com/31/63660763_ae87a69fec.jpg?v=0

I am SOOO excited! This is my first swap and I hope someone picks me!! I know the list is rather long but I have so many things I have seen on here that I love that I couldn't pick what to put Smiley

My list:

1. This earring holder (scroll down a little on the link). Would be great in a Hawaiian print or a kind of girly non-pastel pattern.http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84722.from1144095014;topicseen#new

2. Some items for my kitties- Butters who is the grey one and is a 3 year old boy and Lemmiwinks  (we call her Lemmi) who is the white/grey one and is a 5 month old girl. They would love some toys or some bling!! Like the following:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=23919.0 - Cat ties for Butters
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=30252.0 - Shrinky dink tags, PM for info for tag
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=79818.0 - They need their veggies!!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82600.0 - They need their lucky numbers!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=79826.0 - Domokun, need I say more?
They could both use matching Christmas stockings and new collars. They both like bling (Butters has rhinestones and Lemmi has faux diamonds). Sorry for all the pet stuff but they're important too!!

3. Any type of purse!! Surprise me. I like pinks and blues with brown, tropical colors, themes, cartoons, 3-D embellishments, and anything unusual. Patterns that look like Amy Butler or are 40's-70's prints always catch my eye.  I especially like unusual handles. Can be any design but I tend to buy ones that are more boxy then round. A few I like are linked below:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=32021.0 -Love the design and the embroidery!!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=94239.0 - Yummm! Cake!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=93594.10 - Cord and Applique!! What could be better!
http://www.etsy.com/view_item.php?listing_id=82227&pic_id=3 - Love those handles. Great in a Hawaiian print.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=73668.470 - LOVE THIS! Great design and print! LOVE IT!!

4. A Swap Journal. Since I'm just getting in the swaps here I would love to keep track.

5. Anything 50's kitchen. We will be buying our first house in the next few months and I plan on doing my kitchen in 50's style. Any ideas and items would be great!

6. Various craft items. Can be gently loved items. I love stamp and scrapbook items. Recently went on two separate trips to Hawaii (Maui and Oahu) and Disney World (Florida) so anything pertaining to those place would be great.

7. I would love to learn how to make jewelry, especially bracelets and dangley earrings. So a DIY kit with the necessary tools, materials, and of course instructions. I wear a lot of pink and brown.

8. I recently got a huge Amy Brown tattoo on my back so I would love to have the same design on a purse or pillow or something other than clothing. It's the Flirty Faery design which can be found here. http://www.amybrownart.com/images2_306/open/flirty_faery.jpg

9. My kitties are named after two South Park characters (Butters and Lemmiwinks). If you don't know the story don't be shocked when you learn the origins of Lemmi's name Smiley. I would love to have some kind of thing that has the two characters together. Like plushies, a painting, embroidered on a purse, beads, really anything that is wearable or displayable other than clothing.

10. These transfers from Patternbee.com. or SublimeStiching.com:
http://www.patternbee.com/CH1001.html - Alice in Wonderland
http://www.patternbee.com/WH595.html - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
http://www.patternbee.com/DD1116.html - Animated Veggies
http://www.patternbee.com/DD1545.html - Garden Fresh Homemakers
http://www.patternbee.com/CC150.html - Plump Maid and Pert Chef
http://www.patternbee.com/DC0385.html - Recipe Towels

http://www.sublimestitching.com/daintydays.html - Dainty Days
http://www.sublimestitching.com/craftopia.html - Craftopia
http://www.sublimestitching.com/iluvveggies.html - I Luv Veggies

11. Fabric! 1/2 yard or more preferred of any design but I will take little pieces for appliques. Thank you so much!! Can't wait to see the fabric!

12. Purse patterns. I love purses!!!

13. I know this is farfetched....but a pre-done Hawaiian scrapbook would be great. We just got back last week and I have 290 pictures that will take forever to make a book for. So I would be your bestest friend and make you something great if anyone wanted to do that for me!! PM and I will tell you everywhere we went.

14. Pillows. Can be the just the cover or a stuffed pillow. I like all different kinds, embroidered, cross stitched, princess pillows, square, round, tiny and huge. I plan on having a day bed in my new craft room when we buy our house so I will need tons! 80's themes would be great like Goonies, Gremlins, Nintendo (Final Fantasy the original), or really anything!!

About me: I'm 25 and live in WV (though I grew up in Baltimore, MD). I'm married and have two wonderful kitties. I work at a large catalog company as the recruiter which means I have to dress up every day (gotta look better than those I interview) so accessories are a must!! I love everything Disney, birdhouses, warm weather and the things that go along with it (swimming, palm trees, flowers, sunshine), 80's music TV's and movies, pigs, Family Guy, South Park, fake political shows, reality TV,  and of course crafts. I scrapbook, stamp, paint (items not canvas), cross stitch, and have dabbled in soap and candle making, knitting, and crocheting. My newest craft love is embroidering and sewing! Thanks for checking out my wish list!

I have ME/cfs, so i'm home tutored, and crafts I cant do in bed are a little difficult at the mo. I sew stuffies, clothes and bags, although there's a lot of room fof improvement with the clothes, knit, occasionally cross-stitch, make jewellery, papercrafts, and am currently fathoming bookbinding, although that's temporarily on hold. I'm a huge potter fan, adore japanese cute-ness, love the princess bride (i could have DIED for that bag in the swap!) uh...love modern fabric prints.... if you need more specific sizes you can PM me, but in general i'm a ladies small/uk size 8. Oh, and i'm veggie so animal products are nicht sehr gut Grin

Yay! These swaps are so much fun! Here's my wishes:

~I would LOVE a hipbelt (like this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47995.0) Too cute! I have a medium sized waist... I think.

~Crocheted wire & bead jewelry (like this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=27541.msg229505#msg229505)

~jewelry making supplies/kit

~A purse... I'm not picky about the style. I love so many kinds on here. Bigger is better, since I'm a packrat who is always going from place to place.

~cool rubber stamps... I have ones like a martini glass and some celtic knots.

~A cute stenciled tshirt (I'm a size mediumish) in any color but white

~vintagey/funky ephemera eek! so excited. thanks friend! Grin

~Dangly earrings. I love the cluster kind.

~fun bracelets (i've never measured my wrists, but can if you'd like!)

~anything for a 50's ish kitchen. It's got light yellow and green tiles and is very retro- if you've got a specialty that fits, i'd love it!

~legwarmers

~pillowcasesI have really sensitive skin, though, so theyd have to be really soft. My room is a bunch of bright colors.

~a one skein wonder

~hair stuffIve got hair thats past my shoulders and its super thick, so it has to be heavy duty  Smiley

~a surprise-- if you have something that's your specialty and fits my likes, i'd be delighted to get it Smiley

About me: I'm 20 years old, live in the big city of Chicago. I love the following color combos: turquoise/red/white, brown/pink, olive green/red. I also love the color green and like most colors except bright yellows and oranges. I'm an English major and love reading and books and nerdy themed stuff. Any of these kind of themes would be greatly dug by yours truly: mermaids, pin up girls, feminist imagery, weezer, polka dots, edward gorey, celtic stuff, the 50's, glam rock, sylvia plath, etc. I can't sew and I'm totally jealous of people who can.

Oh, and THANK YOU in advance to anyone that picks from my list! I love craftsters
