  • something from my wists! i am obsessed with wists. so obsessed, in fact, that i will wish this twice.
    http://wists.com/octops

  • wood grain fabric! I cannot find this anywhere!!! it could even be from sheets or something, I don't mind.

  • a traditional sock monkey, sock dog, or socktopus kit -- I think this stuffy / animal obsession I have is out of control

  • a Poketo type wallet made by you (www.poketo.com & it doesn't have to be an illustration you've done, could be an image from a book or magazine

  • I'd be in heaven if someone made me a navy blue tote bag (big and roomy so I can sling it across my back), messenger bag, or a skipping bag, with a white ship's anchor somewhere on it, or perhaps repeating around the whole bag... this'd be sooooooooooooooo amazing (what? obsessed with the sea? ME? never!)

  • I really need a couple new skeins of Burly Soft in cream/white for dyeing!

  • amigurumi critters!

  • a zip up hoodie with "banjos not bombs" on the back of it - women's large or x-large if it's really really snug. I'd be happy to share measurements / sizing help if you pm me!

  • a zip up hoodie with "never a dull moment in saratoga" on the back of it, same thing as above for sizing n stuff

  • a big roomy tote bag or a grocery bag that says "no nukes are good nukes", in a legible font

  • here's a long shot, but, i really need a vegan belt that i can interchange my massive collections of belt buckles with. the only thing i care about is that the material can't look gaudy, it needs to look presentable for work. here's the sort of thing i mean, but not the price tag i like at all!
    http://www.vegetarianbelts.com/roman_feature.html

  • Amy Butler fabric (just not her flannel line, I don't really like that one) or Munki Munki fabric

  • anything Neutral Milk Hotel themed, other than some cds (since I have like, every single known recording on Earth, this obsession is baaaaaaaaaad)

  • this is a complete long shot, but it can't hurt to wish! I'm in love with the Go Anywhere cardigan in the Stitch N Bitch book, but I am not that skilled a knitter yet -- if someone could make that for me, I would probably personally visit them just to give them a gigantic hug and smother them with crafting love, and would most definitely return such a thoughtful and amazing gesture!

  • a stenciled / appliqued / silkscreened tank top or tee (I like my shirts long!) for summer -- some ideas I've got in mind: anchors, ships & boats, sea critters, australian animals, cool vintage-y images. pm me for sizing.

  • a tote with a pretty pirate ship on it (I could supply images if anyone wanted for ideas)

  • pretty pillowcases for standard sized pillows. they could be plain & embroidered, or made from different fabrics... anything, really. so long as they look like something i would like!

I am in NY again (not so willingly though!). As most people here know I am obsessed with animals and the sea, as well as hoodies. I collect cepahlopod-y things, hoodies, Vans slip ons, cool earrings, and bags. My favorite critter is easily an octopus, has been since I was small.

I claim jaami for:

a skipping bag; made with some neat fabric (my likes are on my swap info page), something big enough to hold a book or two, and basic every day stuff like keys & junk

This is my fifth claim (3 sent and 2 of them received)

Fabric

Fat Quarters of purple or yellow - I'm planning to make a quilt for our bed and am collecting fabrics for it right now. Small prints or patterns would be best but nothing creepy, I like pretty

Sewing

- A large tote bag - with a zipper would be great but not necessary.  Nice and bright!!!!

- I'd love a plush teddy bear - around 12" would be great!

- oven mitts - any bright material is fine but something with fruit, veggies or chili peppers would be wonderful!

Quilting

12" squares - any pretty colors and nice pattern would be fine but if you need inspiration, check out this website: http://www.quilterscache.com/BlocksbySizeC.html

Cross-stitch

A teapot picture with the teapot measuring about 3" x 3" and the Aida cloth at least 6" x 6" so I can frame it to match the few others I have.

Any picture that features tulips, scarecrows or sunflowers

Wooden Items

Something to stand on my display shelves, that's under 12" tall, and relating to tulips, scarecrows or sunflowers.  PM me if you need ideas.

Rail pet - if you're a wood worker you may know what I mean but if not, check out this for ideas: http://www.thewinfieldcollection.com/csearch.aspx?search=rail+pet

Crochet

- 12" squares - nice bright colors and any pattern is great

- Eeyore, Pooh or Tigger crocheted in thread - I already have Piglet and he's getting lonely for his friends.

Other

- I need a summer purse - sewn, knitted, crocheted - something not too big and colorful

I'm from Alberta, Canada.  I'm a stay at home Mom with 2 teenage sons.  I like to crochet, sew, quilt and tole paint and swap with people!  As you can probably tell from my list, I love color!!!!

Homerof2, I will send you some fat quarters!  (with the stipulation that you post a pic of your quilt when it's done!  Cheesy)

My list in a sec!
- I could seriously use a knitting needle/crochet hook roll -- mine are all over the place!  I really love some of the corderoy ones that I have seen made-- any color would be fine by me.  (bright and funky is always appreciated) Thank you so much SevsOnlyGirl! You are my hero!  Cheesy

-A sleeping mask or eye pillow

-fancy/fun papers, stickers, charms or embellishments!  I do a lot of paper crafts and can never get enough!  I love ephemera of all kinds

-Art for my cubicle.  It can be amusing, pretty, odd-- whatever you wish!  Just as long as it's not all white and square!   Grin

-A paper star! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83862.0;topicseen

-I am developing an addiction to pocketbooks/clutches/purses/wallets, etc.  I would love one of your specialties!  I am crazy about asian motifs, simple flowers, birds, Hawaiian prints.  I also have a thing for amusing/unique bags, like the following (these are just examples):
red record purse
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=90565.0;topicseen
the infamous Dooney potato:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72935.0
Sha sha ribbon dream purse:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=59563.0
Knottydottie's amazing geisha purse:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=88155.30

- A handmade journal-- one that I could fit into my messenger bag would be awesome.  I get random ideas for projects at random times and never have any place to write them down!

-Teeny Little Super guy glass
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=86122.0

-handmade soap -- if it involved honey, green tea, or coffee, that would be amazing

-bloomers!  They sound great for the summer

-ATCs -- I really want to collect different ones made by craftsters

-a bookbinding DIY kit-- I am dying to learn this!

- I would absolutely love it if you could make an amigurumi kiwi bird!  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=77865.0
(Or any amigurumi, really!)

-A shrine with one of the following themes: Hawaii, the ocean, or the tv show Lost (this last one would be particularly sweet!)

-Your specialty! (a suprise)

-A Kill Bill shirt of Elle like Quincy made for a previous OWS!  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=88909.380;topicseen

-A Pez stuffie (dispenser or candy)

-This is random and may I say, fairly hilarious (at least to me.)  My dad has just recently discovered South Park (what has it been on, like 10 years?) and thinks it is the funniest thing on the planet.  He particularly loves Cartman and Tweak, but any of the characters are still cool.  If you could make a t-shirt with a stencil or some sort of South Park image on it for my dad, he would absolutely go mental!  (and in a good way!)  He would take an XL, and any color shirt would be fine (other than something girly like pink or whatever.)  I suspect he would wear it even more than his teddy bear sweatshirt.  (Yes, he is insane.)  I promise to post an action shot, should anyone be willing/able to fulfill this wish! Cheesy

-For whatever reason, I am very interested in bees/honey/beehives lately.  So any craft that you do with a theme of bees!  Also am loving birds nests for some reason.  So anything with bees or birds nests!

-Anything from my wists!

A little about moi~
I am 27, married (officially a year now!) and have a black cat named Sonja.  I love crafting, art, writing, reading, and anything creative.  My favorite color is red, but I love purples, greens, blues, periwinkle, oranges-- any bright color, really.  I do stained glass work in my free time.  I collect Pez. I love anything ocean themed or tropical themed, including the show Lost.

Thanks so much for considering crafting for me!
