I claim dontlookback for a fleece hat (I hope pink and black is fine!)

I'm in Canada and this is my first claim.  Smiley

1. Knitted socks. I would LOVE a pair of these http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTverytallsocks.html (Black/grey/white/burgundy or a brighter color scheme would be awesome)
or these (so pretty!) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=59711.0

2. Crocheted shrug or capelet: http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/maple/maple.html or http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/beatrice/beatrice.html
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83782.msg789517#msg789517

3. Ribbon scarf. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=24510.0

4. Petticoat. With enthusiastic poof - I made one, but it's rather ineffective (*sniff) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=25389.0

5. Messenger bag. Mine has now been loved too much and is falling apart. I bring it to church and to music practices. I would like the top to zip up. It doesn't need too many pockets, one zippered one inside and a large non zipper one on the inside would be good.

6. A shnazzy tote bag to bring my music books to voice lessons in. It should be the shape and size to fit a couple of big books (about binder size) in. An inner zipper pocket would be muchly useful in it too. Sweet! My music books are thanking you k8kre8s, and so have the bags I've been trying to stuff them into.  Cheesy

7. Crochet belt. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82511.0

8. Felted dreadlocks and instructions on how to put them in.

9. Reconned shoes. My feet are size 8.5 - 9.

10. A hanging earring organizer. I like the idea of the metal screening used in the one made for Bente by littlest ninja here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=66625.300

11. Anything from my wists. Most of this is there, but not all. http://www.wists.com/racehorse87

** I can add more if I stall the swap **

About me: Im an 18 year old student of the sciences in Quebec, Canada. My tastes are quite varied, but Ill try to categorize them. I like gothic (egl and classic), Victorian, slight punk influences (not skulls, but chains can be nice), boho, girly, classy, and vintage. I love tweed, herringbone, houndstooth, plaid, and lace. Colorwise, I like a lot of dark, rich colors, but also delve into the brighter side of life sometime too. In general, as long as its not really tacky looking, Im probably going to like it.

I'll make a swap journal for SevsOnlyGirl.  This is my first claim.

1. Full apron that says Bad Wife (it is a joke between my husband and me) - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=2309.0 or http://snipurl.com/q8e2 - only I would want an adult-sized one
2. ATCs any theme.  I am interested in making some, but I have never seen any except in photos
3. Faces for beaded dolls like in the butterfly and mermaid doll threads - http://snipurl.com/q8fc
4. DIY microscope slide pendant kit my hubby has the soldering iron and can show me what to do with it
5. Oven mitt - http://snipurl.com/q99r or http://snipurl.com/q9aa - the full-on glove, not the fingertip mitts

Crochet Stuff
6. Kitty Weed cat toy - http://snipurl.com/qadm
7. Jazzy Java Jacket - http://snipurl.com/qadw
8. Colorful Pot scrubbies - http://snipurl.com/qae5
  <-- thanks Obsessed!

9. Surprise me with whatever you make best

My blurb:  I'm a 38 year old navy wife living in Missouri, USA.  I have a couple of dogs and a couple of cats.  I would also have some fish and reptiles, but my husband said if I went that far I would be elevated to crazy cat lady status.  I love bold colors in decorating and accessories, but I usually wear earth tones.  Because my taste in colors and crafts changes often, I suppose my style would be eclectic.

My list in no particular order:

Purses and sewing:

Jewelry and beading:

Other stuff:

Knitting:
  • a knit cabled belt. I saw it in SnB nation. Maybe in a creamy beige or off white?
  • an argyle headband: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=74104.0  The colors in the thread are pretty cute. but maybe cream and tan (with tan as the big diamonds with the X in them), or cream and brown (with cream as the big diamonds with the X in them)  or light pink and heather grey? (pink as the big diamonds, just like the pink in the picture. Please use fingering or sock yarn so it is thin like the pattern calls for. If you need any measurements, let me know

Okay, about me: I'm 23, live in Jersey. I'm girly. Not lace and toole girlie, but I do embrace my feminine side. I like art nouveau style jewelry. I guess my style is more classic and sophisticated, with just a hint of trendy. I've come to learn that trends change so quickly, so might as well stick with things that will stand the test of time. I like colors with warm undertones, I'd pick a cream shirt, over a white one.  Bold colors look best on me, as opposed to colors that look washed out. But, think of bold as a strong color, not primary or pastel. So for jewelry, maybe green  and amber, or warm pink. merlot. olive, sage, plum.  I dont like punk or vintage (except in the case of classic sophisticated jewelry) . If I had the money, I'd shop at arden b, bebe, nordstroms.  I have allergies, so please keep things pet hair free (I don't want to limit myself from potential swap partners)  Whoever claims me, please PM me with what you're making and any questions you have, and I'll try to be more specific.

To whoever picks me... THANK YOU in advance for whatever you choose to make for me!

I claim Obsessed for a knit cabled belt.  This is my second claim.

I'm in Georgia, USA, aaaannndd...here's the list!

1.  A reconstructed shirt like some of the ones from ohmystars.net .  PM for measurements, size, preference.

2.  A stencilled tshirt (PM for size) of Robert Smith (of the Cure)  ohmystars.net used to have a stencil of his face, but I don't know if they still do.  If not, any other awesomely cool person will do.

3.  An embelished hoodie (again, PM for size).

4.  Any totally kick-ass purse...I can't seem to get enough of those

5.  A cozie for my ipod mini.  I'm totally loving the little fury monster domokun on that's in the featured projects.     http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=76605.0

6.  A bracelet made out of those flat-backed clear marbles with a cool picture glued to the back (hopefully the craftster whose reading this will know what i'm talking about...if not, PM me.

7.  A belt embelished with different beer bottle caps (PM for size).

8.  Hand spun/dyed yarn.

9.  A kit on how to hand spin yarn.

10.  A unique, cool photo in a cool frame to hang on my wall, or either a neato painting to hang.

11.  A mixed CD of 80's alternative/goth/metal music (for example the cure, joy division, billy idol, echo and the bunnymen, etc.) with an embelished case.

12.  A cool necklace.

13.  Throw pillow/pillow cover.

14.  Cool fabric.

A little about me:  I'm 25 and my tastes are rather eclectic.  I love tattoo art, Blythe dolls, vintage things, Asian culture-esque type stuff, pinups, skulls, among other things.  I love the color red and also hot pink, black, purple, green, and blue (alot of colors, i know.)  PM me if you have any questions.
