She sent me a TON of seeds and some peat pots to get them started in. I can't wait to plant them all. She also sent me a beautiful hand painted book mark, which I love, some garden themed stationary, garden gloves, a foam stamp, and some handy planting tips from a website she frequents.

I sent:  seeds (veggies n some mint), beaded silver metal planter, tips on veggies, tips on mint, czech leaf earrings, painted plant markers to go with the veggie seeds, gloves, a funny iron-on transfer of "Gardening Stretches", a grip of garden-themed stickers, beaded flower barrettes, sculpeyed magnets, trowel, spray bottle for misting plants, a decorated box, and a kitschy book called "Keeping the Harvest: Home Storage of Fruits and Vegetables-- Canning, Jams, Jellies, Freezing, Pickling, Drying, Root Cellars" by Nancy Chioffi and Gretchen Mead.  It was copyrighted in 1980 and has great illustrations.  I chuckled when I sent it.

               

And I forgot, I sent some bugs, too!  The caterpillar can stretch out, the beatle thingy is a clicker, and the green spider is for hiding in houseplants.

Viciouskittie I'm glad you like everything and that everything made it there in one piece. I'll post pics when I can. My Hubby told me everything that was in it and I got spoiled! I can't wait to start planting everything. I think I'm the only person who didn't send any seeds with my package  Hope you didn't need any!

I have an aloe vera plant!  I received it for my birthday last year from my sis who has an amazing greenthumb.  It's doing quite well.  Since it's the growing season for cactis and succulents, I've been adding cacti liquid food to its water and it's taking off!

Oh,man,we have this flowering tree outside our apt that is sooooo fragrant, mmm.  So I looked in my National Arboretum book (thrifted for like $3) and it's a CLADRASTIS.   Oh, it smells so nice!!  I'm hoping the flowers will stay so I can use them at my little wedding.

Yay I have pictures! First here's a group shot. The seed packets are lavender (my fave!), cardinal climber (love vines), a flower mix, sweet basil, oregano. The little pots are growing kits for morning glorys, forget me nots and marigolds. Two decorated frames, garden sissors, garden gloves and two towels.



Here is a close up of the pots. They're so cute! The rims of the pots are decorated with buttons, ribbon and colored marbles.

I'd made the coin purse with cross stitched iris, the crocheted flower pin, and the orchid magnets for my original partner.  When I found out I had a new partner, I added the embroidered sachet, the book on chamomile, and some herb seeds.

I got my package from flirtingwdisaster yesterday! 

She sent:

A little notebook with dragon flies on the cover to keep track of swaps. I have already written the gardening swap in it.

Flower and watercolor stationery

Handmade cards with cute little stamps and one is hand sewn!

Some of those little things that you put in water and they grow. The ones she sent were flowers, they are in the left hand corner of the pic they have already been soaking overnight so thats why they are kinda big.

Well!  I received a package from trip_and_fall!  I guess she didn't flake after all, her computer died and she was without internet access.  Anyway, she sent me an awesome tin full of goodies:

Some poppy seeds, some mystery seeds (already planted!  I love a surprise!) some beans of some sort, a bud vase, a beautiful leaf pendant, and some pretty confetti.

Guess what?  I am a huge jerk.  I cannot believe that I forgot to post pictures here.  I am so sorry bebopchan.  What makes it worse is that I use the purse almost every day.
