Is this a book you own? Use Duct tape! It works great!

If this is a book checked out to you, repair would be very difficult indeed.....take it to the one who checked it out to you and ask THEM what to do.

Hot glue gun? It also fixes everything just like duct tape, only less noticeable

I actually worked at a university library for 4 years, and what we did was take clear wide tape (we had special book tape, but packing tape would probably work if it's wide enough), place the tape down the center of the binding, then fold the two edges over to hold on the front and back covers.  But you really might want to check with whoever owns the book first, if it isn't yours.

Him: I think we've been on the same page for a while now.
Me: What if we're on the same page, but in different books?

use that new, clear duct tape- tape the cover page to the cover- hardly anyone looks at the first page anyway, or you could take it to your local library and sweet talk them into giving you some of that special book tape
