that is wonderful!

avsceriline, i wonder if we went to the same high school. i remember one of my teachers had this 3 foot piece of wood  as his bathroom pass. you had to lug that with you if you had to use the loo.

That is hilarious - gotta forward that to my teacher friends! Before you know it there will be thousands of potty passes throughout the world (yup, world, most of the teachers I know are in private schools abroad!)

Your kids must be really lucky to have a teacher with such a sense of humor Cool

Oh yes, there'll certainly be a worldwide "run" on toilet seats................ Cheesy

that's fantastic.  i really like the idea of having a new toilet seat every year that the class signs.  kids love leaving a part of themselves behind and having a growing gallery of toilet seats will make your classroom as school legend!

and if any teacher ever finds a trick that ACTUALLY makes kids ask to use the bathroom less, please, for the love of god, share it with the rest of us!  that and pencils (remembering them, sharpening them, loaning them, stealing them, keeping them...) have got to be the greatest banes of our profession.

I think your toilet seat is fabulous, and you should definitely retire this one and do a new one for next year.  Maybe zebra stripes this time!

One of my junior high teachers used an empty gallon milk jug as a potty pass.  Every. single. time. he gave it to someone, he made a crack about how they could use the jug if they couldn't make it to the bathroom on time.  *eyeroll*

Hahaha, that was a great idea in theory.  I'll have to show this to my mom (high school art teacher).

I would probably be one of the kids fighting over the pass if one of my teaches did something like that. xD
